We just can’t resist macarons! Especially these that are filled with vanilla buttercream, yum! Craving one of these sweet treats, and want to test your baking skills? This is the perfect recipe to do just that. Here are the ingredients you’ll need to get your started. MakesĀ 40 sandwiched 1-inch macarons (80 halves)

French Macarons

  • 1 1/4cups Almond Flour (Blanched)
  • pinches Salt
  • 3/4cup Confectioners’ Sugar (packed)
  • 1tablespoon Powdered Egg Whites
  • 3/4cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2teaspoon Cream of Tartar
  • 1/2cup Aged Egg Whites (from 4 eggs, aged covered in the fridge for 1-2 days) – Room Temperature
  • 4 dropsGel food color (optional)
